Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Read Aloud Player Chrome extension and its Pro plans, offered by 108, the trading name of Vo Dinh Nhu, an individual developer based in Vietnam ("we"). By installing or using the extension you agree to them.

1. What the extension does

It lets you replay, control and save, on your own device, the audio that ChatGPT's Read Aloud feature plays in your browser. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by OpenAI. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI.

2. Your use

• Use the extension only for content you are allowed to access, and follow OpenAI's terms when using ChatGPT.
• Recordings are for your personal use. You are responsible for how you share or reuse them.
• Do not attempt to bypass licensing, resell licenses, or disrupt the license service.

3. Free and Pro

Free: up to 3 saved recordings and 10 downloads per day. Pro: unlimited saved recordings and downloads, plus the features listed on the pricing page. Listening to ChatGPT answers is never limited by the extension.

Pro plans: $1.99 per month, $5.49 every 3 months, $14.99 per year, each with a 7-day free trial, or $49.99 one-time for Lifetime. Prices are in US dollars and charged in USD; your bank may apply conversion fees. Taxes may apply where required.

4. Trials, renewals and cancellation

• Subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required. The first charge is on day 8 unless you cancel before then.
• We email you before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and interval until cancelled. Cancel any time from Manage subscription in the extension's Pro page (our payment provider's customer portal). After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid.
• Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal and no trial. It covers the extension's Pro features for as long as we offer the extension. Lifetime is not refundable once activated, except as described in the Refund Policy.
• If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for up to 24 hours while the payment is retried or updated, but only for subscriptions that have already been paid at least once (not during or right after a free trial).

5. Licenses

A license can be active on up to 3 browsers at a time. To move it to another browser when all 3 are in use, choose Sign out all other browsers and change the key on the Pro page of the browser used for the purchase. You get a new license key. A browser that has been signed out can keep Pro for up to about 15 minutes before it notices. Keep your license key private.

7. Changes to the product

ChatGPT can change at any time, which may temporarily stop capture from working; we work to restore it promptly. We may change features or prices for future billing periods; we will tell subscribers before a price change applies to them.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of recordings (keep backups of important ones). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

9. Termination

You can stop using the extension at any time. We may suspend a license that is used in breach of these terms, or whose payment is reversed through a bank dispute (chargeback).
